The philosophical expression of design thinking began from 2020, Designer brand sought inspiration from Duomo di Milano and other certain symbols of human civilization, exploring the spirit behind those “eternal” images, and then translating them into furniture design.
SINGCHAN DESIGN is a design studio founded in Guangzhou in 2020 by Sing Chan, dedicated to discovering new revelations from different civilizations and eras, reconstructing them through design, and creating new objects that connect the past and the present.

This series use stainless steel and ultra-fine textured glass for its main structure. This texture has the ability to manipulate the direction of light, enhancing the sense of light’s extension. When observed from different heights and angles, the internal distribution of light fills the space with a sense of imagination. The overall shape employs large-scale four-sided cones, creating a visually striking and piercing sensation.

“I made my way through the cold subway and arrived on the top floor. Numerous majestic, white spires converged together, standing out against the backdrop of the night and the spotlights. They resembled many straight rays of light, and the intricate decorations were like stars…..” Inspired by the structure of Duomo di Milano, Singchan designed his latest series: fragment.

The designer drew inspiration from the futuristic feel of cutting arches to design the Fragment series of pendant lights. It was intricately cut and affixed to the stainless steel frame. The intentionally exposed lamp base, screws, and wires were directly attached to the glass, creating a conflict between delicacy and ruggedness.
